- Sonia Crommie has been in private practice for over 25 years and has practiced in Menlo Park, CA, for 15 years. Sonia works with people who have a wide variety of problems including early childhood trauma and adult children of alcoholics.
- In order to keep current with new ideas, Sonia attends educational workshops on a regular basis. Sonia has been certified to practice EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). This a relatively new behavioral therapy that has shown dramatic improvement in dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorders and other problems.
- Sonia is a provider for some managed care companies and can accept clients with insurance coverage.
- At present Sonia is on the board of Social Work Psychotherapy Providers. SWPP offers long-term psychotherapy to those who cannot afford to pay for those services.
